Delete your Clero account
Applies to the Clero app (Quit Smoking & Nicotine: Clero) on iOS and Android, and to accounts created on clerow.app.
Delete from inside the app
- Open Clero and go to the You tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and all data are removed immediately.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email post@clerow.app from the email address linked to your account (or include the email or invite code you used). We delete the account within 7 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in identity (anonymous ID, email, Apple or Google sign-in link).
- Quiz answers, quit date, streak, check-ins, cravings, feelings and lessons.
- Coach chat history and crew chat messages you sent.
- Crew membership. If you own a crew, the crew is disbanded.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records held by Apple, Google Play, Stripe and RevenueCat (transaction ids, subscription status). These are needed for refunds, accounting and fraud prevention and are kept for as long as the law requires, typically up to 7 years. They are not linked to your app data once the account is gone.
- Support emails you sent us, kept for up to 2 years.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions) or in iOS Settings → Subscriptions. A plan bought on clerow.app is cancelled at clerow.app/account.
